We will have two options for delivery in 2024!

• First, we have our local drop off locations Albion, Columbus, Norfolk, & Newman Grove, Nebraska.
• (Coming 2024) Second, we are in the process of shipping pork right to your doorstep. The pork is shipped in a ‘cooler’ and a cardboard box. We will use dry ice or gel packs to keep the pork frozen. We will only ship on Mondays, that way your package will arrive before the end of the week. 

We deliver on a weekly basis, meaning your order will be delivered the week after your order is processed, unless otherwise stated. Please choose a pick-up location at checkout. We will contact you within 24 hours to schedule a convenient time and date for delivery. 

Right now, we only offer local delivery/pickup to towns in Northeast, Nebraska. We plan to offer shipping in the lower 48 in 2024.

Our family farm is located near Newman Grove, Nebraska. The Wondercheck Family has been raising hogs and cattle in northeast Nebraska for four generations. 

Our pigs are predominantly Berkshire in breed. The Berkshire breed is best known for its marveling and flavor.

We raise our livestock the best way we know how, with respect. Our pork is not organic but it is naturally raised. We raise our pigs from farrow to finish, meaning they spend their whole lives at Wondercheck Family Farms. Our pigs spend the majority of their lives on dirt. Pigs by nature like to rut and burrow in the mud.

Our pigs are fed a corn and soybean ration. It also includes all of the vitamins and minerals that are important to a pig's diet.

When you purchase a livestock animal from a farmer, it is often called a share. Farmers call it a share because you are buying a portion of what they have raised that year. Shares are often sold as a whole animal, half, and sometimes a quarter. By purchasing a share, you support the farmer directly. You will know exactly where the food you are putting on your table has come from, and you’ll have peace of mind, knowing that it was a raised resectfully.

We offer beef and pork shares throughout the year. At this time, our beef is sold once a year, in the fall.
